This webinar focused on the extra-familial harm themes identified in the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel’s 2023–24 Annual Report. Panel members discussed patterns relating to exploitation, serious youth violence and risks occurring outside the family environment.
Speakers reflected on implications for contextual safeguarding, partnership working and prevention, and highlighted learning for local areas responding to complex extra-familial risks.
